TL;DR

Staff Software Engineer, DevOps (FedRAMP) (AWS/Go): Designing and delivering secure, cloud-based infrastructure for Privileged Access Management products with an accent on FedRAMP compliance and high-scale microservices. Focus on scaling shared services, automating infrastructure via Terraform, and optimizing Kubernetes-based deployments.

Location: San Francisco, CA. Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) upon hire

Salary: $194,000 — $267,000 USD

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects using Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Act as a core contributor to the FedRAMP initiative to ensure federal security compliance.
  • Lead design and code reviews to ensure systems are scalable, redundant, and multi-tenant.
  • Operate, support, and scale shared services and microservices frameworks as business usage grows.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Utilize AI pair-programmers and LLMs like Copilot and Claude to accelerate development.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of programming experience in Go (preferred), Java, or C++, specifically for backend services.
  • 4+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database systems.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Redis, OpenSearch, Kinesis, Kafka, and Docker.
  • Proficiency with IaC, Observability, Secrets Management, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's preferred.
