Location: Must reside in one of the following US states: CA, IL, TX, MN, CO, GA, NY, MA, CT. Remote, hybrid, or onsite in Santa Barbara options available.
Salary: $48,000 – $52,000 per year

What you will do
- Manage the full merchant application process, including processing and verifying financial documentation.
- Coordinate with merchants via phone and email to collect missing information and ensure document accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales, customer success, and underwriting departments to facilitate successful onboarding.
- Organize and maintain a pipeline of 30+ active merchant applications.
- Handle and screen inbound phone calls, delegating leads appropriately.
- Document tasks and track projects using internal software systems while ensuring data security.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in financial or merchant services.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and reside in one of the specified states (CA, IL, TX, MN, CO, GA, NY, MA, CT).
- Proficiency with Google Suite products and Mac operating systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with Confluence (Wiki, Jira), Zoom, or Salesforce.
- Previous experience specifically in merchant onboarding or account management.
