Salary: $169,000 – $250,000 yearly

What you will do

• Own end-to-end payroll processing across Americas and EMEA, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, globally distributed payroll team.
• Champion the use of AI-powered tools and automation to streamline payroll efficiency, reporting, and employee support.
• Partner with Finance, People, and Legal to support new country launches, entity setups, and EOR expansions.
• Establish and maintain robust payroll controls, governance frameworks, and audit-ready processes.
• Manage relationships with global payroll providers, tax authorities, and external auditors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience managing complex, multi-country payroll operations across the Americas and EMEA.
• Proven track record of leading and developing globally distributed payroll teams.
• Deep knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as Workday, Paylocity, or ADP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; payroll certifications (CPP, GPMI, CIPP) are highly regarded.
• Must be based in the US (SF Hub) or eligible for US benefits (401k)
