What you will do
- Design, administer, and iterate on executive and enterprise compensation programs, including base salary, annual/long-term incentives, and deferred compensation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accounting, and internal governance requirements, specifically IRS Section 409A.
- Conduct executive market pricing using peer benchmarking and maintain executive salary structures.
- Build advanced models and scenario analyses to evaluate pay mix, incentive outcomes, and affordability.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of executive compensation cycles, including merit, incentive calculations, and promotions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, drafting narratives and visuals to drive compensation decisions.
Requirements
- 8–11 years of compensation experience (10–12 preferred) with deep executive compensation exposure in a private-company environment.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong knowledge of Section 409A and executive compensation governance.
- Experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday) and executive compensation survey platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Analytics, or HR.
- Must be based in or able to work in Bellevue, Washington
