What you will do
- Develop and update training policies and procedures for revenue cycle and accounts receivable functions.
- Partner with portfolio leaders and executive directors to identify training needs and deliver effective education to billing staff.
- Create engaging best-practice materials for service center and field operations.
- Monitor reporting metrics to identify agencies requiring additional support and develop improvement plans.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of payor contracts to ensure accurate billing and collection practices.
- Utilize ticketing software to track trends in support and education needs.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in healthcare billing and collections management.
- Proven experience in home health and/or hospice operations.
- Demonstrated experience in LMS development and configuration.
- Proficiency with Home Care Home Base, Waystar, Availity, and Medicare Administration Contractors (MACs) portals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage detailed information accurately.
