Training Lead / Instructional Designer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs.
• Develop curriculum, facilitator guides, user manuals, and other learning resources.
• Partner with subject matter experts, business analysts, and engineers to translate technical requirements into effective learning content.
• Conduct training needs assessments and develop learning strategies to support organizational readiness.
• Deliver instructor-led training sessions, virtual workshops, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and learner feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering technical training for enterprise technology implementations.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional systems design (ISD), and curriculum development.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar development tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance is mandatory.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) or ATD Master Trainer certification.
• Experience supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations.
• Background in health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management.
