Training Lead / Instructional Designer (Healthcare Technology)

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and blended training programs for enterprise healthcare technology implementations.
• Develop curricula, facilitator and participant guides, job aids, quick-reference materials, user manuals, and other learning resources.
• Translate technical requirements into effective learning content in partnership with subject matter experts, Business Analysts, engineers, and Government stakeholders.
• Conduct training needs assessments, develop learning strategies, and coordinate schedules, instructor assignments, logistics, and course delivery.
• Deliver instructor-led sessions, virtual workshops, demonstrations, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, maintain documentation and learning management records, align initiatives with Organizational Change Management and Communications, and recommend instructional technologies and adult learning techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Five years of experience designing and delivering technical training or instructional programs supporting enterprise technology implementations.
• Experience developing instructor-led training, eLearning, virtual learning, and blended learning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional systems design, and curriculum development methodologies.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Learning Management Systems, or similar instructional development tools.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Certified Professional in Talent Development, ATD Master Trainer, or another instructional design certification.
• Experience supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management.
