What you will do

  • Assess technical capabilities of chemical processing and manufacturing industries.
  • Evaluate production and integration readiness for energetics and propulsion systems.
  • Oversee investments in the defense industrial base and develop reporting tools.
  • Recommend solutions and participate in senior executive engagements.
  • Analyze complex systems, policies, and processes to assist in project management.
  • Review defense authorization and appropriations acts for impacts on critical programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the DoW chemical, energetics, or propulsion industrial base.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting acquisition programs for weapon capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a Science field.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Must be eligible for access to classified information.
  • Ability to work in the US and comply with security investigation requirements.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience preparing Acquisition Decision Memoranda or working within Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
  • Defense Acquisition University certifications.
