Senior Engineering Support Specialist (Systems Engineering): Supporting the D5LE2 Fire Control program to deliver mission-critical solutions for the U.S. Navy's strategic deterrent with an accent on MBSE and digital engineering. Focus on requirements analysis, system architecture modeling, and resolving complex design weaknesses in a safety-critical environment.
Location: Hybrid, On-site, or Remote (requires travel to Pittsfield, MA once every 3 weeks). U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance are required.
Salary: $106,477 – $115,212 per year

What you will do
- Perform requirements analysis, definition, and management for D5LE2 subsystems and system elements.
- Utilize MBSE and digital engineering tools to develop, maintain, and communicate system architectures and designs.
- Conduct technical planning, cost, risk, and supportability analyses for subsystems.
- Research COTS components, GFE/CFE, and specifications to determine design feasibility.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within the program.
- Support Modeling and Simulation activities and generate technical engineering products using appropriate standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in system modeling tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or DOORS.
- Strong knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) in safety-critical environments.
- Experience in requirements management and applying MBSE methodologies to real program deliverables.
