TL;DR

Sales Director, Pro Accounts (Security/PropTech): Leading sales growth for Yale and Master Lock's Professional and Connected Products portfolio across the Central US region with an accent on executive-level relationship building and distribution model optimization. Focus on accelerating adoption of connected access solutions in multifamily housing, Build-to-Rent (BTR), and professional security markets.

Location: Remote, field-based. Must reside within the assigned territory (Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana)

Salary: $105,000 - $165,000 USD

What you will do

  • Build and execute the annual PRO Sales strategy for the Central territory, including quota planning, pipeline development, and forecasting.
  • Drive revenue and market share growth by expanding distributor, dealer, and integrator relationships.
  • Lead and develop the independent sales agency supporting the territory to optimize account coverage and performance.
  • Accelerate the adoption of Yale Pro and Connected Products across professional security and construction channels.
  • Establish executive-level partnerships with multifamily owners, REITs, builders, developers, and property managers.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support product launches and customer success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales or commercial leadership experience, preferably in security, building products, or construction.
  • Proven success driving growth through distributor, dealer, or channel partner networks.
  • Experience selling into multifamily, Build-to-Rent (BTR), or professional security markets.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory (IA, OK, NE, MO, AR, KS, TX, LA), preferably near a major metropolitan airport.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, distributor visits, and trade events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with smart home technologies, access control, or PropTech solutions.
  • Proficiency in technical product demonstrations and solution selling.
  • Experience navigating complex distribution environments.
