What you will do

• Administer end-to-end payroll via Rippling, including onboarding, terminations, and benefits deductions.
• Manage U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance, registrations, and filings.
• Handle customer billing inquiries and process subscription changes, including upgrades and downgrades.
• Reconcile payroll runs against the general ledger and support month-end close activities.
• Manage corporate card administration and employee expense reimbursements through Brex.
• Maintain detailed documentation for payroll processes and identify automation opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, or a related finance role.
• Hands-on experience with Rippling payroll is required.
• Solid knowledge of US federal and multi-state payroll tax regulations.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers regarding financial matters.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in the United States to manage US-specific payroll and tax compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with billing/subscription platforms like QuickBooks.
• CPA license or progress toward licensure.
• Prior experience working at an early-stage startup.
