What you will do

• Execute the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with intercompany consolidations.
• Own the accounts payable process and ensure adoption of procurement policies.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury operations, and bank reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and optimize ERP tools.
• Support external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big Four or large public accounting audit experience.
• Must be based in the U.S., preferably in the Eastern timezone.
• Proven track record of owning balance-sheet accounting independently.
• Experience writing technical accounting memos regarding ASC 606, leases, and equity.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Google Suite.

Nice to have

• Active CPA certification.
• Experience in consumer fintech, payments, or earned wage access.
• Proficiency with modern ERPs like NetSuite or QBO.
• Data and SQL tool experience (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake).
