Salary: $250,000 – $270,000

What you will do

• Architect and own all accounting operations and financial close processes.
• Design and implement scalable accounting policies, controls, and reporting infrastructure.
• Manage external audits and relationships with accounting partners.
• Drive process automation and AI-enabled efficiencies across the finance function.
• Build and develop the future accounting team.
• Partner strategically with the CFO on fundraising readiness and operational scaling.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
• Proven experience as a builder in high-growth environments.
• Expertise in designing scalable accounting systems and controls.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and create structure from scratch.
• Strong interest in leveraging AI and automation to redefine finance processes.
