What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the global public affairs function.
• Lead a high-performance team of six direct reports and manage external agency relationships.
• Develop integrated public affairs communication strategies to support legislative and regulatory objectives.
• Oversee the political action committee (PAC) and policy association engagement programs.
• Mobilize grassroots and grasstops advocacy efforts involving customers, employees, and third-party allies.
• Translate complex policy topics into persuasive narratives for diverse stakeholders including policymakers and media.

Requirements

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in political campaigns, government work, or public affairs/PR.
• Proven track record of converting public affairs initiatives into concrete business results.
• Experience managing external agencies and significant campaign budgets.
• Familiarity with PAC operations and corporate political compliance environments.
• Strong executive acumen with experience advising senior leadership on high-stakes policy engagements.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, or master's) strongly preferred.
