Location: Must be based in the US or Canada (Hybrid options available in San Francisco, New York, or Portland).

Salary: $179,900 – $249,900 (depending on location).

What you will do

  • Own the strategic direction and execution of Design Ops from concept to delivery.
  • Develop an AI-first point of view for design tooling, processes, and agent-based workflows.
  • Architect and maintain lightweight, scalable operating systems for the design organization.
  • Define and execute design culture, quality rituals, and external brand presence.
  • Manage onboarding and enablement programs for new designers.
  • Act as a strategic partner to design leadership, breaking down silos across Product, Research, and Engineering Ops.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US or Canada.
  • Proven track record of independently setting strategy for a horizontal function.
  • Strong ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Experience building and scaling operational systems in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, cross-functional problems and drive decisions.
  • Experience representing a function's point of view externally through community or branding.
