What you will do

• Serve as the primary financial partner for 1-2 game studios, translating complex P&L data into business narratives for leadership.
• Lead the Annual Operating Budget process by partnering with studio management to align resource assumptions with corporate targets.
• Provide decision modeling and scenario planning for studio expansions, technology upgrades, and staffing model changes.
• Partner with HR to model resource utilization and analyze the financial impact of talent strategies.
• Identify and track business-critical KPIs and deliver monthly variance analysis explaining the drivers behind the spend.
• Implement financial workflows that integrate seamlessly with studio operations to minimize friction for creative teams.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, management consulting, or a business-facing finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Mastery of standard FP&A functions including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for building complex models and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to frame financials for non-finance (creative/technical) audiences.
• Must be based in Novato, California for a hybrid work arrangement.
