Product & Technology Communications Manager (AI)

Location: Remote; available locations listed as San Francisco, Berlin, London, New York, and Toronto

Salary: USA California, New York, and Washington: $130,000–$210,000 base salary; USA other states: $115,000–$190,000; Canada: CA$165,000–CA$270,000. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Develop product and technology communications strategies aligned with business goals, product roadmaps, and technical differentiation.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, and modeling leaders to create clear messaging, narratives, and communications materials.
• Lead communications for product launches, including messaging frameworks, FAQs, press releases, and executive talking points.
• Translate complex technical concepts into compelling content for customers, partners, analysts, developers, and media.
• Collaborate with corporate communications and marketing to strengthen product leadership and maintain consistent external messaging.
• Support executive thought leadership, audience research, and crisis communications related to product, security, and technical incidents.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in product and technology communications or technical content.
• Exceptional writing skills and the ability to simplify complex technical topics without losing nuance.
• Experience partnering with product and engineering leaders as a trusted advisor.
• Understanding of enterprise AI, machine learning, or developer ecosystems.
• Experience with product launches, technical content development, or developer-focused communications.
• Strong organization, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
