Senior Communications & PR Lead (12m FTC)

Location: London (Shoreditch), hybrid with three days per week in the office; core hours are 10am–4pm. Up to four weeks of work from anywhere per year is available.

Salary: £85,000–£100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day PR activity with the external PR agency, including press materials, media coverage, spokesperson preparation, crisis communications, and media enquiries.
• Own production of the hirify.global Unprescribed podcast, working with the CEO, freelance producer, and videographer to plan guests, briefs, episodes, and supporting content.
• Develop thought-leadership and brand content, including LinkedIn newsletters, opinion pieces, reports, speaking materials, brand narratives, and brand videos.
• Own and optimise the hirify.global LinkedIn channel, increasing engagement and enabling sales and leadership teams to share content effectively.
• Use data to measure communications performance and refine strategies in line with company goals.
• Advise senior leaders and go-to-market teams on communications strategies and execute cross-functional campaigns.

Requirements

• Proven PR and communications experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Experience in a PR agency or managing a PR agency, with strong media relations and campaign execution skills.
• Track record of delivering measurable communications campaigns and managing projects across multiple teams.
• Excellent writing and messaging skills, including the ability to explain complex or technical subjects clearly for different audiences.
• Confidence working with executives and senior leaders, providing communications guidance under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on curiosity about AI tools, with sound judgement when applying them to research and content creation.

Nice to have

• Experience shaping and launching an external rebrand or new category positioning.
• Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry.
