Senior Product Owner: Driving product vision and delivery on an Agile/Scrum production team with an accent on stakeholder alignment, backlog prioritization, and release planning. Focus on writing and validating user stories with acceptance criteria, applying prioritization frameworks (MoSCoW, Story Mapping, Kano), and mentoring Product Owners while ensuring business value and enterprise-wide requirements are translated into optimal business and/or IT solutions.

What you will do

• Act as a bridge between product development, business stakeholders, and clients to align product vision with department strategy.
• Develop and adapt product vision; write user stories; prioritize and groom the product backlog; plan releases.
• Lead complex, visible work across multiple projects by analyzing enterprise-wide problems and defining requirements and alternate solutions.
• Apply prioritization and product planning methods (MoSCoW, Story Mapping, Kano, Product Canvas/Business Model, Product Roadmap, Product Launch Strategy) including SWOT/competitive analysis.
• Write and approve acceptance criteria, provide final acceptance for user stories, and create/validate prototypes.
• Support Agile execution by participating in daily standups, sprint planning, retros, and partnering with the Scrum Master for continuous improvement; mentor other Product Owners.

Requirements

• Current work authorization in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field with 3 years of IT or Project Management experience, or 7 years of IT/Project Management experience (or equivalent combination).
• 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or working in a Scrum environment.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Certified Product Owner or SAFe Product Owner.
• Ability to define and manage requirements across the delivery and operational lifecycle and to manage stakeholder relationships.
