What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end lifecycle for risk assessments and certifications to support commercial deals and go-to-market efforts.
• Design and operate a scalable third-party risk management program, including vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
• Validate the efficacy of policies and controls through structured testing programs that provide audit-quality evidence.
• Govern the pre-deployment risk review process for new AI models to ensure alignment with safety and ethical frameworks.
• Own the AI abuse and safety incident response program, including triage, investigation, and remediation tracking.
• Manage the risk issue inventory, escalation protocols, and remediation prioritization to ensure organizational accountability.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in risk operations, compliance, internal audit, or information security.
• Proven track record of building and operating scalable risk operational programs at a leadership level.
• Hands-on experience with commercial risk support, including security questionnaires and enterprise sales due diligence.
• Prior experience in AI safety, responsible AI, or technology risk operations.
• Experience operating in regulated environments and interacting directly with auditors or regulators.
• Must be able to work on-site in New York or San Francisco.
