Internal Auditor

What you will do

• Execute the SOX IT testing program: walkthroughs, audit evidence analysis, controls testing, issue identification, and documentation of processes and procedures.
• Support SOX IT program management, including status reporting and planning materials.
• Conduct risk assessments by identifying controls and testing attributes.
• Lead internal audit projects providing assurance and advisory on processes, controls, and risk mitigation, including audit reports and closing materials.
• Build knowledge of business systems and audit tools to create queries and ad hoc reports; partner with internal/external audit teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform follow-up to ensure effective remediation and communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Fluent written and oral English communication.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.; unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of SOX requirements and 2+ years of experience in audit/accounting/financial/banking and information technology.
• Demonstrated experience leading internal audit projects using Institute of Internal Auditors standards, including SOX walkthroughs and SOX testing.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI (or other tools) for analysis and reporting.
