TL;DR

Lead, Proactive Trust & Safety Operations (Trust & Safety): Conducting deep-dive investigations into community guideline violations and optimizing safety processes with an accent on data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on identifying abuse trends, developing safety tools, and managing high-pressure operational workflows to ensure a safe user experience.

Location: Must work in an office 4+ days per week (Los Angeles or Seattle)

Salary: $111,000–$196,000 annually (depending on US pay zone)

What you will do

  • Identify safety trends by analyzing internal and external data to propose proactive solutions.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into Terms of Service and Community Guidelines violations.
  • Develop and implement new processes while optimizing existing workflows and tooling.
  • Partner with Product, Legal, Engineering, and Public Policy teams to ensure safety priorities are aligned with technical constraints.
  • Develop and conduct training for team members to improve investigative standards.
  • Ensure new product launches are properly planned and supported from a safety perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology, safety, or a related field.
  • Must be able to work on-site 4+ days per week.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL and data visualization tools like Looker or Grafana.
  • Experience investigating criminality or abuse content.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
