TL;DR

Lead, Proactive Trust & Safety Operations: Conducting deep-dive investigations into violations of Community Guidelines and Terms of Service with an accent on identifying trends, patterns, and safety risks. Focus on cross-functional collaboration with policy, product, legal, and engineering teams to build and improve safety processes and tools.

Location: Must work in an office 4+ days per week in Los Angeles or Seattle (Default Together policy)

What you will do

  • Identify safety trends and patterns by analyzing internal and external data sources.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into Community Guidelines and Terms of Service violations.
  • Develop and implement safety-related projects, processes, and tools.
  • Partner with policy, product, and engineering teams to support workflow launches.
  • Develop and conduct training for Trust & Safety team members.
  • Anticipate project risks and ensure priorities are clearly communicated via data insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology, safety, or a related field.
  • Full-time availability with required flexibility to work weekends as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Experience investigating criminality or abuse in online environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • 1+ year of people management experience.
