Industrial Engineer (Avionics)

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 Annually

What you will do

• Lead process design and improvement using Lean and Six Sigma to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Design tooling, jigs, fixtures, and workstations for assembly, test, and inspection.
• Develop and validate standard work instructions, assembly guides, and operation sequences.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) via capacity planning, process flow, and production layouts.
• Perform time studies for labor costing and workstation ergonomic reviews.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on production issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technology field.
• Up to 5 years of experience in engineering disciplines supporting operations.
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and DMAIC methodologies.
• Experience with value stream mapping and root-cause tools such as 5-Why and Fishbone.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SolidWorks and process simulation tools.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for throughput analysis.
