What you will do

• Develop and implement process improvements for new and existing products.
• Plan equipment layout and workflow to maximize plant resource efficiency.
• Coordinate Kaizen activities using Ralliant Business System (RBS) principles, including 5S and one-piece flow.
• Design new methods, tooling, and test systems to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA, 8D) and drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Manage manufacturing engineering projects while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in statistical methods and software such as Minitab or JMP.
• Experience with process control methodologies (DMAIC, Six Sigma, Lean, SPC).
• Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO9001) and quality tools (MSA, PFMEA).
• Ability to work onsite in a factory environment in Fairport, NY.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of LabView and SolidWorks.
• Experience integrating automation technology and vision systems.
• CAPEX project management experience.
