What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing test processes, fixtures, and automated test equipment.
• Analyze production workflows and implement improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring products are manufacturable and testable.
• Investigate production and test failures using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering to improve product design for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT).
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve engineering analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and process capability studies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Fairport, NY.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PLCs, automation, or data acquisition systems.
• Experience using ERP/MES systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exposure to AI tools and technologies to improve engineering workflows and data analysis.
