TL;DR

Principal, Product Strategy (Commercial / Medical Affairs): Leading the strategic direction and growth of the Commercial and Medical Affairs segment for a healthcare AI platform with an accent on market intelligence, P&L management, and product prototyping. Focus on shipping AI-driven solutions, refining value propositions for Life Sciences customers, and scaling segment penetration.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Hybrid model with hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago)

Salary: $213,000 - $288,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Own and refine the segment strategy for Commercial/Medical Affairs with a P&L mindset to drive growth, retention, and account penetration.
  • Ship 3-5 revenue-generating solutions, including apps, agents, and data products, that solve real problems for customers.
  • Prototype new product concepts using AI and low-code tools and develop detailed PRDs for engineering implementation.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to create playbooks and value propositions to improve segment selling at scale.
  • Act as the primary internal and external subject matter expert for the Commercial/Medical Affairs market at industry forums and conferences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Commercial/Medical Affairs within life sciences or healthcare analytics.
  • Expert knowledge of use cases, buyer personas, and competitive dynamics in the Commercial/Medical Affairs segment.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize qualitative market intelligence and quantitative data into evidence-based strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functionally across Product, Sales, and Marketing functions.
  • Experience using AI coding/coworking tools to build prototypes, workflows, or agents.
  • Must be based in the United States

  • Prior product management experience.
  • Hands-on track record of shipping products.
