What you will do

• Maintain, operate, and enhance metal powder bed fusion additive manufacturing machines to ensure optimal throughput.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unplanned mechanical/electro-optical repairs.
• Diagnose intricate electrical and mechanical issues and document root causes for corrective actions.
• Execute complex optical and mechanical calibration procedures to maintain precision standards.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automated systems.
• Develop training programs and standard operating procedures for machine maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent maintenance technician experience.
• Demonstrated experience in automation, machine control, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work hands-on in a factory environment, including walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and perform under pressure in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with metal additive manufacturing processes and equipment (e.g., SLM Solutions, EOS, RenAM, Velo3D).
• Military technical background in aviation, aerospace, robotics, or industrial operations.
