TL;DR

Senior Director, US Market Access Strategy (Biotech): Leading market access initiatives for povetacicept (POVE) in IgA Nephropathy and future indications with an accent on payer marketing, pricing, and contracting strategies. Focus on developing value propositions, ensuring launch readiness, and leading cross-functional teams to secure patient access in the US healthcare market.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Boston, MA. Hybrid role (3 days/week on-site).

Salary: $232,000 - $348,000

What you will do

  • Lead pricing and contracting strategies for POVE across current and future indications.
  • Spearhead market access launch readiness teams to ensure alignment and tactical execution for FDA approval.
  • Develop brand and market access strategies by payer channel to support patient access.
  • Oversee the development of the POVE value proposition in partnership with HEOR.
  • Lead the annual long-range planning and US Market Access brand planning.
  • Manage a team of 3-4 direct reports using a player-coach leadership style.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product commercialization and access strategy.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Expert knowledge of the US healthcare system, including government and commercial payers.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical/biotech contract strategy and launch execution.
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmacy and distribution strategy.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Boston, MA on a hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, MPH).
  • Direct disease area experience in nephrology or immunology.
  • Extensive experience in payer contracting.
