TL;DR

Associate Principal, Market Access (Strategic Pricing & Contracting): Leading strategic pricing and contracting initiatives for life science clients with an accent on government pricing, reimbursement policy, and GTN forecasting. Focus on managing client portfolios, driving business development, and mentoring cross-functional teams to optimize market access in the US healthcare landscape.

Location: Must be based in the US (Remote or Washington DC).

What you will do

  • Develop and secure new business within the life science sector with a focus on strategic pricing and government reporting.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to meet an annual sales target of $500K.
  • Conceptualize project scopes, assemble cross-functional teams, and oversee delivery from initiation to completion.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on government pricing programs including ASP, AMP, Best Price, and 340B.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for product launch pricing, value-based pricing, and GTN forecasting.
  • Mentor, supervise, and train staff members within the Market Access practice.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in consulting, payers/PBMs, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in access, formulary, and coverage strategy.
  • 3+ years of experience in reimbursement-specific policy.
  • 2+ years of project team leadership and 5+ years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Advanced or undergraduate degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, or a relevant discipline.

Nice to have

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility as a strategic and pricing expert with senior-level executives.
  • Experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and federal regulation.
  • Strong public speaking and thought leadership publication history.
