TL;DR

Senior Benefits Consultant (Insurance): Managing client relationships and insurance portfolios with an accent on strategic benefit design, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. Focus on driving client retention, overseeing complex renewal strategies, and ensuring high-quality service delivery for employer-sponsored health and welfare plans.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Danvers, MA or Canton, MA (Hybrid role).

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Develop sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client needs.
  • Collaborate with account management teams on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, and post-renewal analysis.
  • Oversee client onboarding, implementation plans, and project timelines.
  • Maintain accountability for account revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation such as HIPAA, ERISA, and PPACA.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of benefits consulting experience required.
  • Valid life and health insurance license required.
  • Practical knowledge of the insurance quoting process and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database applications.
  • Ability to influence and interact effectively with C-suite executives.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
