What you will do

• Collaborate with clients to assess tax departments and implement automation tools across data, process, and technology.
• Manage the full engagement lifecycle from proposal and scoping to design, building, testing, and deployment.
• Develop unique tax strategies and business cases aligned with client objectives.
• Oversee multiple large-scale, complex projects, ensuring risk mitigation and quality assurance.
• Provide post-implementation consulting and support, including virtual or on-site "go-live" assistance.
• Supervise and mentor Tax AI staff in the completion of projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Technology preferred).
• 6+ years of experience with technology or tax systems.
• Certification in one or more of: Corptax, Longview, Orbitax, OneStream, Thomson Reuters, Alteryx, or Microsoft Power Apps is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time.
• Strong communication skills and executive presence for client-facing interactions.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree or CPA certification.
• Experience with ASC 740 tax accounting, consulting, or income tax compliance.
• Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate), ETL tools (Alteryx, Power Query), and Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Previous leadership experience.
