What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide software sourcing, renewals, and strategic procurement initiatives.
• Negotiate complex software provider contracts to ensure lowest total cost of ownership.
• Establish and manage a Software Steering Committee to vet new suppliers and standardize enterprise usage.
• Develop and execute short and long-term commodity strategies for IT procurement.
• Analyze business requirements and create business cases including ROI and proposal comparisons.
• Mentor procurement team members on RFx creation, contract review, and best practices.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must be available to work Central Time Zone hours.
• 5-10 years of experience in IT operations.
• Proven negotiation experience with large software providers like Microsoft, Salesforce, or Workday.
• Strong proficiency in creating complex financial models, ROI analysis, and executive presentations.
• Firm grasp of IT infrastructure, security, and systems administration.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Project management experience.
