What you will do

• Interview loan applicants, gather documentation, and guide members through the application process.
• Evaluate credit reports, income, and debt-to-income ratios to determine loan eligibility.
• Underwrite and approve consumer loans up to $30,000 within established authority.
• Proactively identify and cross-sell ancillary products like GAP protection and payment protection.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality standards (97%+) for all loan files.
• Ensure full compliance with NCUA, CFPB, and other relevant financial regulations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 1+ year of prior lending experience
• Prior experience working within a financial institution such as a bank or credit union
• Proven success in sales, cross-selling ancillary products, and customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with PC software and internet-based applications
