What you will do

• Communicate with vendors and customers to obtain and verify essential loan documentation.
• Perform thorough analysis of borrower credit, income, and assets prior to underwriting submission.
• Prepare loan approval summaries and ensure files are complete and compliant with RESPA, TIL, and HMDA regulations.
• Manage loan pipelines within established turn times and document all communications in the LOS.
• Collaborate with closing and servicing teams to clear outstanding suspense items.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 3-5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Proven experience with renovation or new construction lending.
• Proficiency with automated Loan Origination Systems, specifically Encompass.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations including Regulation Z and Regulation B.
• Excellent analytical, math, and time management skills.
