TL;DR

Commerce Media Business Development Manager (Data Analytics): Driving new business acquisition for alternative data solutions targeting Fortune 5000 B2C companies with an accent on full-cycle sales, from prospecting to closing. Salary: $160,000–$200,000 base, OTE $300,000–$350,000

What you will do

  • Identify and source potential clients through proactive outbound prospecting and market research.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and presentation to negotiation and contract finalization.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate sales pipeline within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal product and marketing teams to create customized, value-driven proposals.
  • Ensure a seamless transition for new clients to the customer success team post-sale.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in prospective sales with a proven track record of securing new logos.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, NV, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or DC.
  • Deep knowledge of alternative data solutions targeting B2C companies.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
