TL;DR
Senior Solutions Engineer (AppSec): Driving the technical sales cycle for a leading application security platform with an accent on CI/CD integration, custom detection rule development, and technical discovery. Focus on building trust with security and DevOps teams while demonstrating product value to technical stakeholders in the Mid-Market segment.
Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote with ~20% travel).
Compensation: OTE $210K – $250K (Base $147K–$175K).

What you will do
- Lead technical discovery and diagnose customer security challenges throughout the sales cycle.
- Own end-to-end Proof-of-Value engagements, including environment configuration and success criteria definition.
- Develop and adapt custom detection rules to demonstrate platform capabilities.
- Partner with Account Executives to drive enterprise deals and provide technical differentiation.
- Improve demo automation, educational content, and internal sales processes.
- Advise security engineers and DevOps teams on solution design and integration.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 3-5 years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience in enterprise SaaS (AppSec, DevOps, or CI/CD).
- Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Ability to write or adapt scripts and detection rules.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
Nice to have
- Full enterprise sales cycle experience with C-level stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and container/Kubernetes environments.
