TL;DR

Senior Client Solutions Engineer (Sales Engineering): Leading technical sales campaigns and designing enterprise cloud solutions with an accent on data center infrastructure, security, and cloud operations. Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas (Hybrid)

Salary: $230,000 - $250,000 per year (OTE)

What you will do

  • Own all technical aspects of sales campaigns and manage hand-offs to consulting and services teams.
  • Design and architect solutions across cloud management, security, and datacenter infrastructure.
  • Partner with Client Directors to develop cohesive account strategies and identify technology vendors.
  • Present at technical briefings, lab demonstrations, and industry events to showcase value.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, decision-making processes, and funding.
  • Coach and mentor team resources to enhance technical acumen and pre-sales skill sets.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or near Austin, Texas
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in Pre-Sales and Data Center environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of storage, networking, compute, virtualization, or security.
  • Proven ability to lead technical sales campaigns independently.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and analytical problem-solving skills.
