Salary: $160,000 – $220,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams as the primary technical and domain expert during the sales cycle.
• Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, from developers to C-level executives.
• Plan and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) for complex customer use cases.
• Translate customer business challenges into technical solutions using the Okta Identity Platform.
• Provide actionable feedback to product management regarding feature enhancements and market needs.
• Support marketing events, executive briefings, and trade shows as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in IAM.
• Strong expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML protocols.
• Hands-on development experience with web, mobile, or backend technologies and REST APIs.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Auth0, Auth0 FGA, or OpenFGA.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI or LLM technology.
• Background in integrating microservices or customer data platforms.
• Developed ReBAC or Fine-Grained Authorization models.
