Salary: $219,000–$329,000 + equity + benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a cross-functional squad of ~8 engineers across frontend, fullstack, and backend.
• Own the engineering delivery for the Studio campaign builder, including templates, brand kits, and AI-assisted content tools.
• Operate as a player-coach by participating in architecture reviews, code reviews, and hands-on technical contributions.
• Champion an outcomes-over-output culture, utilizing A/B testing and data-driven experimentation to optimize conversion.
• Partner with Product and Design to frame problems, define scope, and ensure high-quality, accessible, and reliable product delivery.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development practices and explore new AI-powered product capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Must be able to work in-office 3x a week.
• Proven experience leading and growing software engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Strong background in building complex, customer-facing web applications using TypeScript and React.
• Experience delivering in a data-driven, experimentation-heavy environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building interactive builder or editor experiences (WYSIWYG, drag-and-drop).
• Experience integrating AI/LLM-powered features into products.
• Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce conversion funnels.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools like Amplitude or Heap.
