What you will do

• Directly manage and coach a team of up to 8 software engineers, focusing on their technical growth and career development.
• Partner with product and design teams to translate ambitious roadmaps into shipped features.
• Steward architectural decisions and review code to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.
• Optimize engineering processes, tooling, and team effectiveness to remove execution bottlenecks.
• Guide the team in the strategic adoption and use of AI coding agents to increase productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience directly managing software engineers.
• Experience leading engineering teams at high-bar startups.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and technical depth to lead senior engineers.
• Track record of shipping complex, user-facing products with business impact.
• Must be located within US timezones.
