Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: $161,000–$299,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the evolution of foundations infrastructure to support UI, API, CLI, and other interfaces.
• Establish reusable patterns and best practices for security and networking UI development.
• Manage the TEAR domains including Security (RBAC, SSO), Networking (VPC, PrivateLink), and Billing UI.
• Partner with Product and Design to align technical execution with product goals.
• Mentor engineers and manage other engineering managers to foster a culture of ownership.
• Drive developer productivity through AI tooling adoption and test automation.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Deep frontend expertise in React, TypeScript, and component design systems.
• Experience creating reusable frameworks adopted across multiple product teams.
• Proven track record of partnering with Product and Design for execution.
• Experience managing other engineering managers.

Nice to have

• Domain knowledge in Security (RBAC, SSO), Networking (VPC), or Billing/Payments systems.
• Experience evolving platform teams to serve broader organizational needs.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
