TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada (Hybrid: 2 days per week in the Vancouver studio).

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Act as a trusted partner to supervisors for complex employee relations, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Own and track review cycles, including performance and probation assessments.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and onboarding.
  • Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and records in the HRIS system.
  • Provide light facility support during office days, including security access and supply coordination.
  • Ensure studio compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of British Columbia.

Requirements

  • Education: BA in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience, including full-cycle recruiting.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards and HR compliance.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Work Arrangement: Must be able to work from the Vancouver office 2 days per week.
  • Residency: Priority given to BC residents, Canadians, and Canadian Permanent Residents.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS (Payworks) and ATS (JazzHR).
  • Experience with LinkedIn recruiting.
  • Background in digital marketing or social media management.
