Salary: $7,851.50 - $12,243.25 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Resolve identified workplace conflicts through formal and informal mediation and facilitation.
- Respond to respectful workplace concerns, perform intake of new complaints, and triage them to appropriate departments.
- Provide advice and guidance to senior HR professionals and administrative leaders on conflict engagement principles.
- Develop strategic operational plans and initiatives to build communication and resolution skills across the university.
- Conduct conflict analysis and assessments to support restorative and sustainable outcomes in active conflicts.
- Partner with the Equity and Inclusion Office (EIO) and other units to develop educational programs on conflict management.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of five to seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Location: Must be based at the Vancouver Campus.
- Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Ability to respect and engage with diverse perspectives, including those in conflict with one's own.
Nice to have
- Continuing conflict resolution certifications and/or professional designations.
- Experience implementing conflict engagement practices within a large, decentralized organization.
- Proven track record in developing educational programs and campaigns related to alternative resolution processes.
- Grounding in dialogue and conflict management theory and practice.
