TL;DR

Account Executive (Commercial, DACH): Driving new business growth for data infrastructure solutions across the DACH region with an accent on outbound prospecting and consultative sales. Focus on building a robust pipeline, navigating complex technical discussions with engineering stakeholders, and closing deals within the modern data stack ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in Dublin, Ireland. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office.

What you will do

  • Proactively identify and engage new commercial customers through outbound prospecting.
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline from discovery to close.
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to address customer data challenges.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Partner teams.
  • Build productive relationships with technology partners and system integrators.
  • Contribute to scaling sales processes and share best practices within the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of closing experience in a SaaS or technology sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota overachievement.
  • Ability to navigate technical discussions with data and engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in German is highly preferred for selling into the DACH market.
  • Must be based in Dublin and able to work in a hybrid model.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling data, analytics, infrastructure, or developer-focused products.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms or modern data stacks.
  • Exposure to partner-led sales or co-selling motions.
