What you will do

• Define system architecture and integrate complex configurations for large wheel loaders and compactors.
• Research and develop design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications for new products.
• Guide technical project planning, performance analysis, and development testing.
• Participate in supplier selection and capabilities assessment.
• Construct and fabricate prototype equipment while overseeing materials selection and process optimization.
• Perform reliability testing and failure analysis to ensure production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Must be based in Decatur, IL.
• Sponsorship is not available.
• Experience in heavy equipment, mining equipment, or complex manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience in systems integration, configuration engineering, or complex product development.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, interdependencies, and integration methodologies.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience with prototyping, system testing, validation, and verification processes.
