What you will do

• Define and own architectural patterns for enterprise Shopify Plus deployments, including headless and B2B capabilities.
• Lead global cross-functional teams of architects and engineers to ensure delivery quality and performance.
• Act as a senior technical voice in sales pursuits, proposal development, and client-facing solutioning.
• Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of Shopify experts while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Partner with business development teams to identify upsell opportunities and deepen relationships with Shopify alliance teams.
• Establish governance frameworks and delivery KPIs to ensure scalability and maintainability of commerce platforms.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ontario or Québec, Canada.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership within a consulting or agency environment.
• 3–4+ years of specific experience in Shopify Plus or comparable enterprise commerce platforms.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility, and headless/composable architectures.
• Proven track record of leading sales pursuits and owning technical narratives in competitive deals.
• English fluency required for Québec-based candidates to collaborate with Americas and European teams.

Nice to have

• Shopify Partner or Developer certifications.
• Enterprise architecture credentials such as TOGAF, SAFe, or PMP.
• Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and CDP/CRM integrations.
