TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL (in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $146,000 – $172,000 USD

What you will do

  • Align employee relations policies with legal requirements and company values.
  • Conduct research, track feedback, and coordinate updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Support ER investigations and observe interviews under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Collaborate with Legal and L&D to prepare materials for ER-related training sessions.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and produce routine reports using HR Acuity.
  • Manage severance agreements and accommodation logistics, including vendor communication.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in employee relations or HRBP roles.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
  • Experience with HR case management systems, specifically HR Acuity.
  • Ability to navigate complex conversations regarding performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Competence in analyzing people data to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Must be based in Chicago, IL.
