Sr. Employee Relations Advisor

Location: Omaha, United States; hybrid schedule with in-person collaboration three days per week and remote flexibility two days per week.

Salary: $81,662–$134,741 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Advise employees and managers on performance management, workforce policies, employee relations, and employment lifecycle matters.
• Address grievances, recommend exit options, and support restructures and reorganizations with HR business partners.
• Lead confidential employment investigations involving internal concerns, ethics hotline reports, EEOC charges, OSHA complaints, and DOL complaints.
• Develop legally defensible investigation documentation, coordinate stakeholders, and recommend follow-up actions.
• Support manager development, onboarding, policy communication, employee engagement, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Use metrics and data-driven analysis to improve performance management and workforce programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Three to five years of progressive HR or management experience involving situational assessment, influence, and problem resolution.
• Working knowledge of HR programs and practices, labor and employment laws, and managerial responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, coaching, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, evenings, weekends, and travel based on business demands.
• Unrestricted US work authorization is required; future sponsorship is not available.

• Project management and project execution experience.
• Experience presenting data points and formulating recommended solutions.
• Experience working confidentially in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
