TL;DR

Sales Director (PropTech): Leading sales growth for professional and connected products portfolio across the Central US region with an accent on distribution model optimization and executive relationship building. Focus on driving revenue growth in multifamily housing, Build-to-Rent (BTR), and professional security markets.

Location: Remote, field-based. Must reside within the assigned territory (Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana) and be near a major airport.

Salary: $105,000 - $165,000 USD

What you will do

  • Build and execute the annual PRO Sales strategy for the Central territory, including quota planning and pipeline development.
  • Expand distributor, dealer, and integrator relationships to deliver revenue and market share growth.
  • Lead and develop the independent sales agency to improve account coverage and performance metrics.
  • Drive adoption of connected access solutions across professional security and construction channels.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with multifamily owners, REITs, and developers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Marketing, and Finance to support product launches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales or commercial leadership, preferably in security or building products.
  • Proven track record of driving growth through channel partner networks and distributors.
  • Experience selling into multifamily, BTR, or professional security markets.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Must reside within the assigned 8-state Central territory.

Nice to have

  • Experience with smart home technologies, PropTech, or access control.
  • Background in technical product demonstrations and solution selling.
  • Experience working within complex distribution environments.
