What you will do

• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the facility, including monitoring boilers, turbines, and the steam plant.
• Manage and motivate a shift workforce, ensuring all personnel follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain plant operations within all environmental limits and permits.
• Lead emergency response efforts for injuries or accidents.
• Approve equipment removal for maintenance and issue necessary safety permits.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Alexandria, VA, USA.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation.
• Must obtain and maintain an ASME QRO Provisional & Site-Specific Operators license.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
