Salary: $41,600 - $90,000 USD

What you will do

• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance, repair, and replacement of wind turbine components.
• Troubleshoot complex problems on variable pitch and variable speed wind turbines.
• Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of SCADA communication systems.
• Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent via computer-based reporting.
• Lead maintenance crews and mentor lower-level technicians in LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures.
• Perform balance of plant and switchyard work as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required (or obtained within 6 months of hire).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to climb towers unassisted up to 300 feet and work safely in confined spaces and adverse climates.
• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude; basic electrical knowledge required for Level I and above.
• Must not require nonimmigrant visa sponsorship (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Previous experience with SAP.
